We are pleased to welcome British artist Ed Fornieles for the new installment of KALEIDOSCOPE Instagram Residency, our online Instagram-based project.
Ed, who also features in the magazine’s current issue, within a round table discussion around the notion of superimages, will take over KALEIDOSCOPE’s Instagram account with a series of images entitled “Subjects.”
A group of vampires known as Subjects live throughout the world; their condition is the result of the HDB virus, now present in 3–4% of the overall population. Once identified, Subjects are monitored and forced to the periphery of society, living in ghettos and feeding from state-sanctioned sources. This project follows a small group of Subjects who decided to hit back, causing fear and panic as they hunt for unsynthesized human blood and conspire against the humans in an attempt to liberate the Subject kind.
